November 15, 2005 - Jackson/Ho China Forum - Colin Crooks, a member of the British Diplomatic Service since 1992 and currently serving as the Asia watcher at the British Embassy in Washington DC, spoke on the topic of "Transatlantic Responses to China's Rise."

October 10, 2005 - Jackson/Ho China Forum - Professor Edward Ziegler, a leading teacher and scholar on land development, zoning and growth management, provided a PowerPoint presentation, "China's Cities, Globalization and Sustainable Development: Some Comparative Thoughts on Urban Planning, Energy, and Environmental Policy in the Emerging Middle Kingdom."

May 2, 2005 - Jackson/Ho China Forum - Prof. Victor Lippit, Professor of Economics, University of California, Riverside, spoke on the topic of "China's Development Upsurge: Contradictions and Consequences."

April 8, 2005 - Jackson/Ho China Forum - Prof. Dali Yang, Professor & Chairman of the Department of Political Science at the University of Chicago, on the topic of "Corruption and Governance in China."

March 8, 2005 - Jackson/Ho China Forum - Prof. Howard Goldblatt, Research Professor at Notre Dame, and Prof. Sylvia Li-chun Lin, Assistant Professor of Chinese at Notre Dame, on the topic of "Reflections on Contemporary China in Film and Fiction."

February 15, 2005 -Jackson/Ho China Forum - Prof. Kenneth Keng, Academic Director, Asia Pacific Executive Programs, Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, on the topic of "Understanding China's Unbalanced Economic Growth."

February 2, 2005 - Jackson/Ho China Forum - Jerome Cohen, Of Counsel to Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, NYU Law Professor, and Senior Fellow for Asia Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, on the topic of "Settling Business Disputes in China" and Joan Cohen, Art historian, photographer, and research fellow at Harvard University's Fairbank Center for East Asian Studies, on the topic of "Art and Politics in China."
