New Global Governance Journal

Josef Korbel School: New Host of the Journal Global Governance: A Review of Multilateralism and International Organizations and International Organizations

Beginning July 2009, the Josef Korbel School of International Studies will be the five year host of the journal Global Governance: A Review of Multilateralism and International Organizations. The journal will be administered by the Josef Korbel School's Center for Sustainable Development and International Peace with Dean Tom Farer and Professor Timothy Sisk serving as the editors.

The journal is published by Lynne Rienner Publishers, which is independently owned and operated out of Boulder, Colorado and well known in the fields of international studies and comparative politics. The publication is the official journal of the Academic Council of the United Nations System (ACUNS) and features articles on transnational challenges, opportunities and international regimes.

Sisk says, "[a]s the new Obama administration and the international community try to grapple with the new interdependencies of the 21st century, the contested ideas of global governance are sure to be at the very top of public and policy agendas. We see the imminent arrival of Global Governance at the Josef Korbel School as very timely and look forward to the management of this already prominent -- and we hope in future even more prominent -- publication."
