On May 11, 2012,  Fifteen Josef Korbel School students from course INTS 4989: North American Defense and Security, met separately with General Chuck Jacoby, Commander, NORAD and USNORTHCOM (4-Star General) and LGEN Tom Lawson, NORAD Deputy Commander (Canadian 3-Star General) to ask questions about North American Defense and Security issues (i.e., Mexico's war against the drug cartels, cyber security, the future of NORAD, and the future of North American Defense and Security). 

 The students were also briefed by the SEMAR (Mexican Navy) and SEDENA (Mexican Army) Foreign Liaison Officers and received a brief from the J2 Intelligence Directorate on the threat of Mexico's Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs).
