Sié Fellows Class of 2013 Graduation
June 7—The Sié Fellows Class of 2013 graduated on June 7th. Sié Fellows are outstanding master's degree students from the U.S. and abroad who seek a career in international diplomacy or related fields. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will be the commencement speaker.

Under Secretary Of State Tara D. Sonenshine
Fall 2013—Tara D. Sonenshine is the Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs and was previously the Executive Vice President of the U.S. Institute of Peace. As part of the Public Diplomacy Speaker Series, Secretary Sonenshine will visit the Center in Fall of 2013.

Acting Under Secretary of State Kathleen Stephens
Fall 2013—Now the acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, Kathleen Stephens was the United States Ambassador to the Republic of Korea from 2008-2011. She will be visiting the Sie Center in the Fall of 2013 as part of the Public Diplomacy Speaker Series.

Religion & Social Cohesion in Conflict: NYC Event
October 18—Dr. Timothy Sisk and PhD Candidate Fletcher Cox will be hosting a two day research symposium in New York City for their research project on Religion & Social Cohesion in Conflict Affected Countries. The symposium will convene the authors and scholars working on the project.
