The Sié Fellows Program

The Sié Center offers a unique program to a select group of exceptional scholars, the Sié Fellows, who seek a career in international security, diplomacy, or a related field. Sié Fellows receive a two-year full-tuition scholarship to the Josef Korbel School of International Studies.

The Sié Fellowship is highly competitive. Each year, the Sié Fellowship is awarded to 10 incoming students with a previous history of academic success (high GPA and GRE scores) and a demonstrated interest in International Security and Diplomacy (relevant internship and work experience). All completed applications are considered with no additional forms or essays required.  Applicants are encouraged to complete their applications by the January 15th application deadline.

The Sié curriculum is tailored to its Fellows’ interests.  Sié Fellows can pursue any of the degrees offered at the Josef Korbel School, including International Security; International Development; Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration; and International Human Rights.  Fellows are encouraged to select an elective curriculum that will meet their long-term career goals and are required to complete an intensive internship in a related area.

The Sié Center also supports opportunities for graduates of the Sié Fellows program to network with other Sié Fellows throughout their careers.
