Sié Center Working Paper Series features original research conducted by faculty at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies and others affiliated with the Sié Chéou-Kang Center. Together with the Sié Center Research Seminar Series, the Working Paper Series provides a forum for disseminating works-in-progress and highlighting the research currently underway at the Center. Papers are available for download in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.
Policies & Guidelines
Any faculty member, instructor, adjunct, or post-doctoral fellow at the Korbel School of International Studies may submit a working paper for consideration. Those who present as part of the Sié Center Research Seminar Series are also invited to submit. Publication of a manuscript as a Working Paper does not preclude its subsequent publication as journal article or book chapter.
Submitted papers will be reviewed by Sié Center faculty to assure that (1) the author is eligible to publish her work in the Sié Working Paper Series; and (2) the paper is sufficiently free of spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors to warrant public distribution. Note that the author(s) will not have the opportunity to approve submitted papers prior to their publication as Working Papers. Therefore, all submitted works should be ready for public distribution. Within three weeks of submission, the author will be notified as to whether the paper has been accepted for publication.
