This research project will systematically interview and catalog lessons learned from the United Nations Peace and Development Advisors (PDAs). These UN officials typically work in conflict-affected countries right at the intersection between conflict dynamics and development challenges such as structural inequality or chronic poverty.
This will be a collaborative research effort with the International Peace Institute in New York, with assistance from the United Nations Development Program and the UN Department of Political Affairs.
