- Undergraduate
- Three pieces
of contrasting character; each from a different period:
Baroque (e.g., two-part invention
by Bach)
Classical (e.g., Mozart, Haydn)
Romantic/Post-Romantic (e.g.,
Schubert, Chopin, Albeniz)
Twentieth Century (e.g., Creston, Diamond, Lundquist,
Gart)
- Major
and minor scales in parallel and contrary motion, two octaves.
- Sight
reading to be selected at the audition
Accordion
- Graduate
- Prelude
and Fugue by J.S. Bach using either free bass or stradella
- Prelude
and Dance by Paul Creston
- Two
solo pieces of your choice, different in character and style
- Major
and minor scales in parallel and contrary motion, two octaves.
- Sight
reading to be selected at the audition
