Audition Requirements

Harp - Undergraduate

1. Two pieces of contrasting character, entire works, concert etudes, or single movements from sonatas, suites, or concerti selected from different periods:

   •  Renaissance/Baroque

   •  Classical

   •  Romantic/Post-Romantic

   •  Twentieth Century

2. Sight reading to be selected at the audition

Harp - Graduate

1. Solo works:

   •  Händel. Concerto in B-flat, op. 4, no. 6 complete OR Debussy Danses complete.

   •  One Nineteenth Century piece or movement from multi-mov. work of applicant's choice

   •  One Twentieth-Century piece or movement from multi-mov. work of applicant's choice

2. Orchestral Excerpts; Ravel. Tzigane OR Rimsky-Korsakov. Capriccio espagnol . Harp Cadenza
3. Sight reading to be selected at the audition
