Audition Requirements

Trumpet - Undergraduate

1. All major scales, 2 octaves when possible
2. Pick one from the following selections:

   One of the 14 Arban Characteristic studies

   One major solo work for trumpet

   One Brandt, Bosquet or Charlier etude

      3.  Joseph Haydn, Concerto for Trumpet , second movement

Trumpet - Graduate

1. •  All major and minor scales, 2 octaves when possible
2. •  One Charlier etude
3. •  Student's choice of a major solo work for the trumpet
