A native of Minneapolis, Angela Dombrowski (violin) began studying piano at age four and violin at age six. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Boston University, where she studied with Bayla Keyes and her Master of Music degree at Rice University, where she studied with Kathleen Winkler. As a chamber musician, Angela has performed live on WGBH Radio and at the Boston Symphony Orchestra Open House. In 2003, she traveled to Moscow, Russia to collaborate with the Russian Modern Orchestra to perform concerts, one of which was presented in honor of the US Ambassador. In addition to performances with The Playground, Angela currently performs with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Orchestra, is co-concertmaster of the St. Mary’s Baroque Orchestra, and is frequently a substitute violinist with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. She also enjoys maintaining a private violin studio. Angela lives in Littleton with her husband Steve.
