The Playground is comprised primarily of faculty and graduates of Denver University's Lamont School of Music. Others range from Artist-Diploma recipients to professional musicians active in the Denver metro area and beyond. It could be said that the Playground functions somewhat like a collective that centers around a core group of performers. Playground participants bring a wide spectrum of experience and perspective to the ensemble, as well as a high degree of professional collegiality.
