University Program Philosophy

Those students who posess academic as well as musical talents will find the University Program provides the right mix of intellectual and artistic curricula. You will be encouraged to participate in the University of Denver's Honors program, or perhaps to pursue a double major. You have many options in the pursuit of the undergraduate or graduate degree that is the best fit for your goals.

The University Program of the Lamont School of Music encompasses the Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in music, the undergraduate music minor, the Master of Arts degrees in music history and music theory, and the music education/pedagogy components of the Master of Music degrees in music pedagogy.
