NOTE: If purchasing through retail companies such as Best Buy or Circuit City, please be sure to purchase either Windows XP Pro or Media Center Edition 2005. Windows XP Home version is blocked from our campus because it does not contain the necessary advanced networking and security features that help protect the resources on our network. Please also upgrade systems to 3-4 years of warranty support.

Windows XP Home is NOT allowed - manufacturers will NOT uphold warranties for XP Home systems if XP Professional is installed after the purchase.
