Welcome New Graduate Students
This year, the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, coincides with new student orientation week at the University of Denver. This Jewish holiday begins Wednesday evening, September 4 and ends Friday evening, September 6, 2013. Those who observe Rosh Hashanah may refrain from activities such as school and work during this holiday.
The Office of Graduate Studies New Student Orientation will no longer take place on September 6th from 1:00 to 4:30 P.M. The Office of Graduate Studies is committed to Inclusive Excellence and want to make our orientation inclusive and available to the entire graduate community. Thank you to those who have marked your calendars for orientation on September 6th. You no longer need to hold that spot open for an on-campus orientation. We will provide an online orientation as a comprehensive overview of the university's resources, and the sessions will be available to all graduate students online. Please refer to communication from your department regarding program-specific orientation details.
We look forward to welcoming you and introducing you to our campus resources.
