Dallas Jamison is a senior communications strategist with a hybrid background spanning 25 years in journalism and public relations.

As a broadcast and print journalist, Jamison covered a wide-range of issues including, healthcare, education and politics. She served as a member of the management team at CBS-News in Chicago as planning editor. In that capacity, she helped shape editorial coverage for three daily news shows. She also produced special news programming and received a regional Emmy nomination for a series on AIDS in the priesthood.

Jamison began her journalism career in Denver as a national researcher in news bureaus for The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times. In that role, she identified emerging issues in the Rocky Mountain west for possible coverage and field-reported on breaking news.

Transitioning from the newsroom to the public relations world, Jamison served as an executive for some of Chicago’s leading marketing communications agencies. She led national campaigns for clients from a diverse range of industries including healthcare, financial services and hospitality. As a senior vice president, she also managed the Chicago technology practice at Golin Harris International. 

Jamison holds a Masters degree in Global Studies from the University of Denver and a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado-Denver.
