Natalie Knowlton

Research Analyst
Natalie Knowlton received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her M.A. from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies. During law school, Knowlton spent three years with the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy, including a year as Managing Editor on the 2007-2008 Editorial Board. She was also heavily involved with the school’s International Legal Studies program. Knowlton obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in International Affairs. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
While at the University of Denver, Knowlton participated in the international criminal tribunal externship and began working as an intern with the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System in April 2006.
Knowlton has international study and work experience, having studied abroad in Brussels and worked in Tanzania as a program consultant for the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. She is proficient in French and is continuing language studies in Arabic.
