LISSAA Committees

Peer Resource Board

The Peer Resource Board (PRB) is a standing committee of LISSAA composed of the vice president/president-elect and two student representatives. The purpose of the PRB is to serve as an information resource for students with questions and concerns about the LISV program. The PRB will answer questions, provide referrals, listen to concerns, and, when appropriate, will assist students with finding a resolution to problems. All PRB business is confidential. 2002-2003 PRB members are:

Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee, under the direction of the Vice-President/ President-Elect, will be responsible for organizing and planning at least one professional development event during each academic year and will inform the LISSAA membership of events via the Publications Committee. Publications Committee

The Publications Committee, under the direction of the Secretary, will be responsible for promoting all LISSAA activities, assisting LISSAA and the LIS Program in publicizing events and issues relevant to LIS students, compiling and distributing the LISSAA newsletter, and posting to the LISSAA web site. Internet Committee

The Internet Committee will be responsible for the LISSAA web site and LIS student Blackboard site.  This committee will work under the direction of the Web Site Committee chair, who will be appointed by the LISSAA Executive Board.  Contact Dennis Hagen for more information.
