Accreditation
External Review Panel (ERP): Review Dates March 28-30, 2004; final decision will be made at Summer meeting of ALA, in June 2004. According to Ann O’Neill, Director of the Office of Accreditation, the shift of the site visit from fall 2003 to spring 2004 will not affect students graduating in Academic Year 2002-2003.
Thomas Wilding has agreed to serve as Chair of the External Review Panel. COA will review the proposed composition of the External review Panel at its April 25-27, 2003 meeting. Once the committee is approved, the names will be sent to us. LIS faculty and Advisory Board will review the names for conflicts of interest. COA has final authority on the composition of the ERP; all members do not visit the campus.
