This one-of-a-kind experience in close-knit community brings students of various backgrounds together to discover their innovational potential and pursue their dreams.
Members of the CELLC take a two-credit seminar each quarter of the first year, in which they gain skills in team building, improvisation, business etiquette, leadership, mind mapping and more.
Students develop an entrepreneurial mind-set and explore creative ways to organize for-profit and not-for-profit businesses as well as community projects.

Students in the Environmental Awareness Living & Learning Community (EALLC) all share an interest in learning more about how humans interact with the environment.
Members of the EALLC take an academic seminar each quarter of their first year on a topic related to the environment, using the Rocky Mountain region as their classroom.
Weekend retreats allow students to get to know their peers better and expose them to a variety of environmental issues.

The International LLC is a DU community of students with an intense global curiosity. Through social and cultural events, our residents enjoy learning about one anothers backgrounds and cultures.
ILLC students have learned to salsa, analyzed international film, attended lectures, volunteered with international non-profits, and enjoyed conversation over international cuisine!
The opportunities for global learning are borderless. The evolving curriculum has included courses on intercultural communication, comparative religions, and global social problems.

Todays world demands a greater level of cultural literacy, ethical responsibility, civic engagement and leadership capacity from its college graduates.
PLP develops students for these unique challenges. This rigorous academic and experiential program leads to a minor in Leadership Studies that spans the four year DU experience.
PLPs distinctive curriculum offers an engaging approach to the formal study of leadership, utilizing the classroom, retreats, speakers, field visits, community service and a first year residential experience.

DU is strongly committed to morality, personal integrity and serving the public good. Drawing on these ideals, the SJC intends to equip students to bring about positive social change. We will be a group that studies the history and under-lying foundations of ethics and justice.
Through seminars on philosophy to sociology, students are able to explore the many realms of oppression and social justice.
Students participate in retreats and special guest lectures, and they perform 40 hours of community action over the course of the year.

The Wellness LLC is a place where students have the opportunity to learn about and support each other while exploring issues of personal and community wellness.
Students take a two-credit course each quarter of the first year dealing with a variety of wellness topics, including: physical and mental wellness; global issues of health and wellness; and spirituality and wellness.
In addition, students attend weekend retreats and guest lectures as well as participate in community health promotion.
