All first year students at the University of Denver live on campus. Students accepted into the Environmental Sustainability LLC live together on a wing of Johnson-MacFarlane Hall (JMAC). This historic building creates a unique atmosphere to learn together and develop friendships that go beyond your years at DU.
The floor often goes out to explore Colorado together. Here is a video from their trip to Dinosaur Ridge in Morrison, CO.

Green Guidance: HOW DOES THE ESLLC FOSTER THE VALUES OF INCLUSIVE EXCELLENCE?
- We had a lot of diversity in our hall based on ethnicity, beliefs, age, sexual orientation, etc. and I learned a lot from living with so many different people. It really broadened my horizons which I really appreciate.
- The ESLLC was open to all ideas and points of view which was a way to include everyone no matter their background.
- Being gay, I came into my first year with my first true opportunity to be myself.
