Five key attributes reinforce the DU brand. You'll see them reflected in communications materials—from news stories on DU Today to banners celebrating special events.

Through the excellence of our teaching and learning environment, we extend these values to our students and alumni. We understand that collaborative, inclusive, friendly and challenging relationships lead to personal discovery, sophisticated academic and personal experiences, and the development of values and commitments.

- Support these brand attributes with specific examples that bring them to life.
Use feature stories or videos about what our students, faculty and alumni area doing to illustrate these attributes. Weave these into materials or call them out in sidebars and pull quotes for special notice. - Incorporate DU's external brand theme and internal brand theme when communicating with the appropriate audiences.
