Internal Brand Theme
When a challenge arises or a problem surfaces, members of the DU community rally around the idea that we can "DU something about it."
This internal theme illustrates our bias for action and leadership. It compels us to create new knowledge, ideas and opportunities—all in the interest of improving the human condition.
How to use the internal theme
- Look for opportunities to highlight and celebrate DU's hands-on and action-oriented approach to examining issues and testing new knowledge. Use specific examples—or proof points—to show how members of the DU community are catalysts for positive change.
- The theme lends itself to various creative expressions. Feel free to improvise with "Celebrate DU-ing" or "Be a DU-er."
- Consider the theme as an opportunity to showcase specific examples of how DU students, faculty and staff are responding to challenges through action. Be sure to focus on results and to explain why we do what we do.
- Use the theme as inspiration to do more. Don't just share your stories and ideas for action with those outside DU; find ways to share them with others on campus as well. Seek new opportunities to collaborate and communicate with other departments, disciplines and audiences.
