DU Logo
Signature Variations
The logotype and the D-mark are designed to be used together as a unit. The D-mark should rarely stand alone; the stylized Trajan logotype, however, may be used as a stand-alone element. In the preferred arrangement, the top of the primary-emphasis unit name aligns with the baseline of the logo, giving the entire construction a modern, Western feeling. While dynamic, there is minimal competition between logo and words. This preferred version should be used whenever possible, particularly on stationery.
Signature 1
This is the University of Denver's primary signature. With its carefully balanced elements, this signature should be an essential presence in viewbooks, bulletins, program brochures and fundraising materials. To maximize its effectiveness, this signature must be accompanied by a generous buffer of white space.
Signature 2
Reserve this signature for applications with limited white space--advertisements, copy-heavy brochures, postcards.
Signature 3
Reserve this signature for University-wide external marketing materials that do not incorporate "Start from a higher place" elsewhere in the same piece. Do not use this signature on stationery or signage.
