Brand Guidelines

Email Signatures

To maintain visibility of the University brand, it's important to include the University logo in email signatures.

  • To conserve space and keep file sizes to a minimum, version 4 of the logo should be used in email signatures.

Because of their digital nature, email signatures should be reproduced in the typeface Verdana or Georgia.

  • Set signatures in 11-point type to avoid visual competition between the signature and the body of the message.

The content of email signatures should follow the printed University business card.

  • Content should be brief and concise. Information should be listed in the following order:
    1. Sender's Name
    2. Sender's Job Title(s)
    3. Sender's Department
    4. Sender's Division
    5. Sender's Phone Number
    6. Department or Division's Web Address
