Feb. 21, 2014—The University of Denver School of Art and Art History, the Gender and Women's Studies Program, Myhren Gallery and Marsico Fund are pleased to present the Guerrilla Girls on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014. The visit will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Malone Theater at the Cable Center. The event is free and open to the public.
The Guerrilla Girls are a group of anonymous, female artists who according to their website "expose sexism, racism and corruption in politics, art, film and pop culture with facts, humor and outrageous visuals. They reveal the understory, the subtext, the overlooked, and the downright unfair."
