About the Environmental Science Program
Experience the environment first-hand.
DU is the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountain Region. Quality academic programs, excellent faculty and personal attention, as well as our location in one of the most beautiful and vibrant regions of the country, are the main reason students choose to study and live here. Within minutes you can go from a large city to suburban neighborhoods nestled in the plains and foothills, to mountain communities and large expanses of forest and wilderness. This setting provides unique laboratories to study the environment.
We are located in the southern part of the city of Denver, just south of I-25, close to the intersection of University Boulevard and East Iliff Ave. The department is located in Boettcher West of the Boettcher Center. Please come and visit us if you are in the Denver metro area.
