    Research Interests

    My primary research interests presently focus on erosion processes and rates on severely disturbed lands, such as surface-mine lands and construction lands. I am also interested in the reconstruction of topography on these severely disturbed lands and the effect that this topography has on erosion rates and reclamation success in general. During the past several years I have worked with the application of the Revised Universal Soil loss Equation on severely disturbed lands. In the broader context, my research, historically, has focused on geomorphic processes on hillslopes.
