The departmental office is located on the second floor of John Greene Hall, Room 203. The office is open during normal DU business hours, 8:00-4:30.

Parking on the street is usually the best bet, and there are no parking meters on our side of campus. Try parking on Wesley Ave, York St or Gaylord St, but watch for some one-hour parking restrictions. Here is a printable map of parking facilities on campus (lot 320 is the closest visitor parking to John Greene Hall).

The campus is well served by public transportation. Route 24 runs north/south on University Ave, connects to the University of Denver light-rail station, and has a stop near our department, at University Blvd and Wesley Ave. Route 21 runs east/west on Evans Ave, connects to the Evans light-rail station, and the nearest stop is at University Ave and East Evans. The DU shuttle will take you from the University of Denver light-rail station to John Greene Hall, but you must have a DU ID to ride it.

Airport transportation

Shuttle services operate from the ground transportation area at the airport and can take you directly to DU or a hotel. Most of the hotels listed below also offer free shuttle rides to and from DU.

A taxi ride from the airport will cost you $50 or so. But Denver is mostly a car town; don't count on flagging down a taxi easily.

There are a number of hotels in the general vicinity, but unfortunately, none within easy walking distance of DU. Reasonable options include:
