I completed my undergraduate degree in Chemical Physics at Occidental College and my Medical Doctorate degree at the University of California at San Diego with my thesis in Medical Physics. I completed my Radiology Residency and CardioThoracic Imaging Fellowship also at UCSD. I have been a Professor of Radiology at National Jewish Health and the University of Colorado Denver for the past 17 years. My research interests are in qualitative and quantitative CT, MRI and PET/CT of both heart and lung disease. I am very active in clinical care, education and research at NJH. I have been involved with the AIP hidden physicist program in the past and I am very interested in promoting high quality Physics Education at all levels.
