For many students, money for new furniture is hard to come by. There are several options:

• Craigslist.org - A free online community posting service with extensive furniture and household item listings as well as garage sale announcements.
• Freecycle.org - Another free community based program to help people find new homes for unneeded but still useful household items.
• Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News Online Marketplace also features garage sale announements.
• ARC Thrift Centers, near campus at Broadway & Florida or Iliff & Quebec.
