Beta Chi strives to achieve its highest scholastic potential each quarter at the University of Denver. Every quarter our chapter holds a Scholarship Dinner, where each woman is able to invite a faculty member to our house for dinner and to celebrate scholarship. This dinner honors the women who have excelled academically. We provide study hours and other helpful study tools, that are always available. Also we try to give constant recognition and encouragement for girls to continue in excelling with their studies.
In addition to this the Beta Chi implementated a new scholarship program, in 2007. The program involves a new academic advisor, Professor Corey Ciocchetti, who meets with members on an individual basis as well as on a chapter basis. The meetings focus on motivation, character, and integrity, as well as including presentations from female role models in the community such as surgeons, lawyers, and the Chief Justice of Colorado. By next year, all of the members will be on their way to holding at least a 3.4 GPA!
