GRADUATE WOMEN'S COUNCIL MISSION:
The Graduate Women’s Council is a group of graduate students working together to address women’s issues and to support the academic endeavors of graduate women at the University of Denver.
CORE ISSUES:
Our mission statement will be accomplished through the fulfillment of the following objectives.
1.
Collaboration
with other organizations within and outside of the DU
community.
2.
Collaboration
with the Undergraduate Women’s Council to create a more
unified women’s student community on campus.
3.
Offering
funding to DU graduate women engaged in academic endeavors
involving women’s issues.
4.
Encouraging
the involvement of international and multicultural graduate
women on campus.
5.
Building
a community for graduate women through meetings, events,
listserv, and website.
6.
Sponsoring
events on campus regarding women’s issues.
7. Establishing a safe resource network for information for graduate women’s issues both on and off campus.
