This website is created to give you an overview of what the Latino Student Alliance (LSA) at the University of Denver is about. LSA at DU was founded in the 1950s to help promote Latino culture on campus. Today, more than 50 years later, LSA continues to promote Latino culture on campus while giving back to the community with several volunteer activities, such as La Raza Youth Conference held annually around the Denver area. As a member of LSA, each individual has the opportunity to learn about a diverse group of people who contribute to the Latino culture in significant ways. LSA firmly believes in being active members of the university campus and therefore encourages all of its members to participate in events held by other organizations. LSA also co-sponsors many organizations and organizes the annual Cinco de Mayo celebration along with many other activities.
