Never Again: Holocaust and Genocide Awareness
Never Again! works to promote awareness of the Holocaust and more recent genocides to fulfill the goal that these atrocities should never happen again. The purpose is to inform the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Denver, as well as the community at large, about the Holocaust, the implications of hate and prejudice, and the reoccurrence of genocide throughout the world today.
Never Again! is a student organization of the University of Denver and is affiliated with Hillel of Colorado and the Holocaust Awareness Institute of the University of Denver’s Center for Judaic Studies. We work to increase awareness and raise activism and advocacy with students and the University community.
We have a lot of great ideas for this year including speakers, information sessions, co-programming with different groups, Holocaust and Genocide Awareness Week, a conference for Colorado college and high school students, and more! Come check us out!
In 2007 and 2008, we hosted very successful Holocaust and Genocide Awareness Weeks reaching much of the University of Denver and greater Denver communities. Our activities were featured in the Rocky Mountain News, The Denver Post, Washington Park Profile, Intermountain Jewish News, and DU Today. For more information, click the "Events" tab above.
