Come to University of California Los Angeles and
build your skills as an LGBT student organizer!
Attend a Queer GROW (GrassRoots Organizing Weekend), a weekend
of leadership and organizational training to build your student
groups and win victories on campus! GROW is a program of the United
States Student Association, the oldest and largest national student
organization, and includes components on leadership development,
organization skills, recruitment, coalition building, and more.
This entire GROW uses LGBT issues and examples in teaching students
the fundamental skills of organizing to win concrete change on campus
and in the community.
WHEN: Jan 23-Jan 25, 2004
WHERE: UCLA campus
COST: $10/person to reserve the spot and will be
reimbursed; $5/person recommended donation
**Food and housing will be provided**
