IBC Education
The University of Denver is responsible for ensuring that activities involving recombinant DNA or select agents and other biological hazards at the University of Denver are in compliance with established National Institutes of Health (NIH) Guidelines.
We realize education is an important part of this process. ORSP Research Compliance and the IBC host several workshops throughout the year and work closely with DU’s Office of Environmental Health and Safety. We also provide web education through Blackboard.
To complete IBC education through Blackboard:
Go to http://blackboard.du.edu/ (this is the direct Blackboard URL)
Click on Course Catalog, and under OSP go to Institutional Biosafety Committee
Click "enroll."
If an error message appears stating: "Access Denied." Click on the "login" button to proceed and self-enroll using your Blackboard login and password (typically your DU ID and passcode).
