Photo Auction

The DUPCC holds an annual photo auction to raise money to support a current DU Master's International field project. The auction profiles the best pictures taken by DU volunteers from around the world.

The 2011-2012 auction raised more than $600, all of which went to assist a University MI student's project in Cameroon. With this money, the MI student will purchase books essential for high school seniors and re-establish a book-lending program at the local community center.

The 2012-2013 auction was another successful photo auction that brought awareness and knowledge to the DU community, as returned and prospective Peace Corps volunteers implemented the Peace Corps' Third Goal, and interacted with the community through the auction.

The proceeds from the 2012-2013 auction have gone to Lifting La Pena, which is local non-profit organization in rural El Salvador founded by Greg Cormier, a current MA candidate and RPCV at the Korbel School. Their mission is to provide scholastic opportunity to underprivileged, hard-working youth.
