The Graduate School of Social Work is a flexible program that allows students to customize their study to fit their goals. The location in Denver allows access to diverse populations and social issues, as well as many internship opportunities.
Benefits for Fellows are:
- MSW program application fee waiver
- eligibility for one of two annual $5,000 Peace Corps Coverdell Fellows Scholarships
- eligibility for all other merit-based scholarships
All two-year students undertake a foundation year, in which you are introduced to the knowledge of social work. By the third quarter, students decide what they will concentrate on during the second year of study. Students choose to focus on either clinical practice or community practice.
For a detailed curriculum, see the MSW Handbook (PDF).
