The Graduate School of Social Work is a flexible program that allows students to customize their study to fit their goals. The location in Denver allows access to diverse populations and social issues, as well as many internship opportunities.
The School of Social Work awards two Peace Corps fellowships per year. Application fees for returned Peace Corps volunteers are waived.
Benefits for fellows are:
- a $5,000 scholarship
- eligibility for all other merit-based scholarships
All two-year students undertake a foundation year, in which you are introduced to the knowledge of social work. By the third quarter, students decide what they will concentrate on during the second year of study. Students choose to focus on either clinical practice or community practice.
