Partners in Scholarship (PinS) supports undergraduate research and creative projects by distributing quarterly grants through a competitive application process.PinS provides a unique opportunity for students to enhance their undergraduate experience through a collaborative research project. With the assistance of a faculty partner, students design and execute a project that involves in-depth study in their specific area of interest. PinS funding helps cover the expenses necessary to ensure the completion and success of the project. Expenses may include supplies such as books, software, or lab equipment, travel for research, or materials like props for a play. Students may request up to $1500 each quarter. Applications for 2008 Fall Quarter are due September 18 , 2008. (There will be a second application round for 2008 fall quarter PinS in September.) More information and the PinS application.
