Pioneer Id Card

Graduate Student

All graduate students are entitled to a Pioneer ID Card. In order to receive a card you must be registered for classes and be within 30 days from the beginning of your admitted quarter or semester. Most graduate program students will need to come by the ID Office after you have registered for classes, be sure to bring a photo ID with you. Some departments arrange a special time to come to the ID Office during orientation, usually depending on registration schedules, please check your orientation schedule for more information.

All registration must be posted to your University account. If you are taking a certificate or educational class through an individual campus program, a program on campus but not offered through the DU, or a class that is less than 5 consecutive weeks, you do not receive a Pioneer ID Card.

Graduate student enrolled in a online program may download and print a Pioneer ID Request form from www.du.edu/pioneercard, in the forms section. ONLY students enrolled in distance learning may use this form. Please mail in the completed form with an appropriate picture. We will mail your Pioneer ID Card when all paperwork has been completed

Additional notes: The DU Discoveries Orientation is the week before classes begin, so if you come in to get your ID early you will be met with lines of new freshman and their parents. If you wait to come in during your orientation or just after you register you should have minimal waiting.
