Welcome to the Pioneer Leadership ProgramLearn more about DU's Pioneer Program by viewing our video.
The Pioneer Leadership Program (PLP) has been developing the leadership skills of some of the University of Denver’s most talented undergraduate students since 1995. PLP is a unique academic minor and Living and Learning Community at the University of Denver.
PLP prepares students for these challenges with a focus on citizen leadership.
As an experiential based program, PLP utilizes academic, co-curricular
and service-learning to guide students to the theory and practice of
leadership. Student
success is facilitated by unfettered access to PLP’s dedicated faculty and staff. Students who complete the coursework and program
requirements obtain a 24credit minor in leadership studies. PLP students engage in intellectually challenging courses, complex issue discussions, group projects, community service, internships and have opportunities to study abroad. Students meet, listen, and engage with local and nationally known community, business, and public leaders. For more information, please browse our website or contact pioneerldr-info@du.edu.
