The Center for Multicultural Excellence offers a variety of programs and services that support and empower our LGBTIQ and Ally communities as they thrive, succeed, and make valuable contributions to DU. They also maintain a list of DU Campus Resources and Organizations, Community Resources & Organizations, LGBTIQA organization listservs, and the DU LGBTIQA Calendar.

Beyond the inclusion expected of all DU offices in their services and programs, a number of offices provide services with specific attention to the unique needs of LGBTIQ communities.

  • Health & Counseling Center: provides individual and group counseling, in addition to health education and treatment services.
  • Gender Violence Education & Support Services: provides prevention education and survivor support resources.
  • Study Abroad: provides some initial points to consider and resources for LGBTIQ international studies/travel
  • Career Center: provides points to consider in career planning and job search for LGBTIQ and Ally students (See handout near top of list!)
