Why CPD?

World-renowned faculty and DU-affiliated business leaders
Excellence in interdisciplinary instruction for diversified learners
Student-centered innovation and service

In the state of Colorado, there are about 100,000 licensed professionals who require continuing education for their careers.

The Center for Professional Development (CPD) at the University of Denver (DU) was established to deliver high-quality, accredited programs that meet the needs of these professionals; as well as to identify and deliver opportunities for skills development and career exploration for business professionals.

As a novel collaboration of DU's Graduate School of Social Work, Morgridge College of Education, Graduate School of Professional Psychology, and University College, CPD draws upon DU's rich reputation and core values to deliver high-quality, accessible, and affordable professional development to the Denver community.

Explore how CPD can help your practice, your business, your career—your life.
