The first interview for the GEM study is in person, at Nagel Hall, located at 2194 S. High St. (click here for map). Both the child participating and their parent will receive $20.00 cash. We will then call you for a shorter 1-week follow up interview for which each of you will receive a check for $10.00 in the mail. After that, we will give you a call every three months to continue following up with you and your family. Both the child participant and their parent will receive a check for $10.00 for each follow-up phone call. Twice during the three year study, we will invite you to come back to Nagel Hall to interview with us in person. You will each receive $20.00 and then a week later you will receive a $10.00 follow up phone call. |
