Welcome to the Department of Psychology! The Department of Psychology at the University of Denver comprises 22 full-time faculty, a number of full-and part-time emeritus, adjunct, and research faculty, about 60 students in the Ph.D. program and approximately 220 undergraduate majors. The department's offices, research laboratories, and general working space are located in Frontier Hall. The main departmental office is located in the first floor lobby of Frontier Hall, 2155 S. Race St. [phone: 303.871.2478]. Most of the information about the department can be found in this office.
Our doctoral programs include: Affect/Social, Child Clinical, Cognitive, and Developmental. Students in all areas can be in the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience program. A strength of our Department is that each of our specialty areas includes a substantial number of faculty whose interests overlap and complement those of faculty in the other areas. We are committed to multi-discipline approaches and to close working collaborative relationships between students and faculty. Many of our students work with multiple mentors and with faculty advisors outside their specific area. |
