The Relationship Center
at the University of Denver
Director: Wyndol Furman
The Relationship Center is a research center in the Psychology Department of the University of Denver. For over 20 years, we've studied children's and adolescent's relationships with friends, parents, siblings, and romantic partners. Thousands of families have participated in our projects.
Our goal is to understand relationships - what makes them healthy and happy, and what causes problems. By understanding more about relationships, we can help people to improve their relationships.
The Relationship Center has published over sixty journal articles and a book entitled The Development of Romantic Relationships in Adolescence. Reports of our research and program have appeared in local and national newspapers, radio shows and television programs.
