Claire Stephenson received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia in 2005. After graduating, she spent the summer working as a Direct Care Counselor for Wediko Children’s Services. Her work here focused on the residential care of adolescent boys with emotional and behavioral disturbances. For the next two years, she worked as a project manager for Kid’s LIves, Families, and Friends (KLIFF) at the University of Virginia. The KLIFF project is a large-scale longitudinal study examining the influence of social relationships, autonomy, and attachment processes on adolescent development. Currently, Claire is interested in investigating the correlates of stability and change in adolescent parent, peer and romantic attachment.
