Undergraduate Psychology Program

The undergraduate program is a vital (and the largest) part of our department. In addition to a curriculum designed to support a wide range of student goals, we offer many opportunities for involvement and hands-on experiences outside the classroom. This portion of the Psychology website provides information for current and prospective undergraduate students on degree requirements, advising, opportunities for involvement, and the like. There is also contact information for academic advisors and others who can answer additional questions you have.

Undergraduate Mission

The mission of the undergraduate program of the University of Denver Psychology Department is to promote learning by:

  1. engaging with students in scholarly inquiry about psychology,
  2. cultivating critical thought about psychology,
  3. providing opportunities to generate knowledge in psychological science,
  4. providing opportunities to apply knowledge of psychological principles for the public good.
