Internship Experience Options

Field Experiences in a Clinical setting is a Psychology Department course sequence designed for students interested in pursuing graduate training or a career in clinical psychology or the mental health field after graduation.

Students can work in a research lab for course credit (PSYC 2112) or through the Federal Work- Study Program.

The Sociology Department offers an internship course sequence designed to provide students with experience in community agencies and the criminal justice system.

The University Career Center, located in the Driscoll Center, provides resources to find a variety of internships.

You may also find part-time or volunteer work with a local agency (e.g., a homeless shelter, a battered woman's shelter, etc) while you are an undergraduate. Such opportunities for community work and service may be found through the University's Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning.
